GCONL 2024 Treasurer

Congratulations to Becky Rengering our 2024-2026 GCONL Treasurer!  We look forward to her joining our team. 

 She is the Clinical Director for Transplant Services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.  She has worked in the field of transplantation for 26 years.  She coaches and mentors the staff that coordinate care for transplant candidates and recipients in all solid organ transplant programs (heart, liver, kidney, lung, intestine).  Becky is certified as a clinical transplant coordinator (CCTC) and is a certified pediatric nurse (CPN).  Becky has worked from the bedside providing direct clinical care to the outpatient setting coordinating care. She is dedicated to improving the patient and family experience, quality, and safety of hospital programs.  Additionally, Becky works towards ensuring the operational success of the organization.   Becky received her Bachelor of Science and Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 1996 and achieved a master’s in nursing administration from Mount Saint Joseph University in 2016.   Becky is a medical advisory board member for the National Kidney Foundation and is active in supporting their education efforts to the community and other events to raise awareness regarding donation.  She has hosted the Big Ask Big Give education seminar for the last 3 years.   Becky is also on the board of Off the List, a non-profit agency that serves the community in helping patients and families find opportunities for living donation.  Outside of all things professional, Becky enjoys the great outdoors, crafting, and spending time with her family.
