Join our Pediatric Care team consisting of 2 dedicated providers who are passionate about children's health. We offer personalized care for infants, children, and adolescents-from routine checkups to ongoing health management. Our close-knit team is committed to providing compassionate care to both our young patients and their families.

How you'll contribute 
A Licensed Practical Nurse who excels in this role:

• Assists Providers with preparation and information documentation for the patient's visit including obtaining vitals, medical history and other pertinent information from the patient.  
• Prepares exam rooms for patients.  
• Assists Providers with procedures as directed by the Provider.  
• Assists with collection of lab samples.  
• Gives injections, administers meds, and provides wound care as ordered by Provider.  
• Documents all care and education in medical record.

What we're looking for 
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to adequately perform this job.  
-    Education: Associates Degree Required
-    Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of NC
-    Work experience: Previous experience in the medical practice setting will be helpful in this role.  
-    Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Must have the ability to work independently, have strong oral skills, good basic math skills and be computer literate. The medical practices utilize an electronic medical record.  
-    Life Safety: American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days and maintain thereafter.
